The world of Community Engagement is rapidly expanding and evolving. More and more public, private and not-for-profit sector organisations are recognising the value of engaging those affected by their decisions and are embracing a mix of techniques, technologies and tools to carry this out.

ADELAIDE October 17-19, 2016

On 18th October 2016 IAP2 Australasia presented 17 Awards at the Core Values Awards Gala Dinner in Adelaide. Presented also were the International IAP2 Awards which saw international delegates attending and celebrating with us.

Special congratulations to LandCorp winning both Australasia Organisation of the Year and the International Organisation of the Year.

The 2016 IAP2 Australasia Conference - The Future of Engagement and Democracy will be held as part of Open State. Open State will bring more than 10,000 people together with four national conferences and a range of open innovation events.
Held over ten days, Open State will include national conferences, workshops and symposiums in Adelaide – celebrating South Australia as a place open to the world’s best ideas and as a leader in collaboration to solve complex problems.

Open State will connect leading national and international experts with people in our community to explore how new ideas and collaboration can create the path to the future.

Open State will feature four national conferences:

  • Integrity 2016 – Inaugural Conference
  • Australian information Industry Association (AIIA) National Event
  • 2016 IAP2 Australasia Conference - The Future of Engagement and Democracy

In addition, there will be a range of independent events including:

  • Of the People symposium organised by the New Democracy Foundation.
